Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), Niterói, Brazil, announces the registration period for undergraduate international students who wish to conduct international exchange in our institution during the academic semester to take place from March to July 2025, or from March to December 2025, will be open from November 18 until January 16. Registrations are to be made exclusively online, and there is no need to send any documents by mail

Students from all over the world are welcome to join our Mobility Program. Students may come to UFF to undertake courses, to participate in research groups or to work in laboratories.

PORTUGUESE FOR FOREIGNERS
UFF’s Language and Culture Center offers two formats of Portuguese for Foreigners courses for international mobility students: On-site Crash Course (three weeks, 30 hours); and On-site Regular Course (six months, 60 hours).
International students will have a reserved spot in the regular Portuguese course throughout the academic semester.

MINOR IN GLOBAL CHALLENGES
Minor in Global Challenges
The Minor is a program that complements the student’s major, and is offered entirely in English, Spanish, and/or French. It brings together students and professors from all parts of the world to debate the UN Sustainable Development Goals, focusing on the topic of inequalities through the perspective of multiple academic fields. International students can participate in single courses within the program or fully enroll in the Minor, receiving specific certification after its conclusion.

WHAT IS UFF ?
Founded in 1960, Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF) is a public institution, part of the Brazilian federal higher education system. Its headquarters are located in the city of Niterói and its campuses can be found in various parts of the state of Rio de Janeiro, as a result of a strong decentralization policy. There is also an out-of-state campus in Oriximiná, in the Amazon rainforest.
