What is the preparatory department?

For how long will I study?

• 1 year: September/October - May/June,
• 1.5 years: March-June, September/October - May/June.

What can I study?

If you want to become an economist or a manager, then it will be:

• Russian language,
• language for profession,
• mathematics,
• history,
• social studies,
• elective course: geography.

If you want to become a philologist, linguist, historian, lawyer, study advertising or international relations, then it will be:

• Russian language,
• language for profession,
• literature,
• history,
• social studies,
• elective course: geography.

Do I need to know Russian?

What documents do I need to provide?

• Passport copy, notarized passport translation, visa page (if available);
• document of previous education with an attachment/transcript with legalization/apostille, if necessary https://nic.gov.ru/ru/proc/lega ): a notarized copy, a notarized translation (if the document does not contain information in Russian);
• medical certificate on form 086/u or a health certificate including lung X-ray/fluorography (valid for 6 months);
• medical certificate confirming the absence of HIV/AIDS, hepatitis B and C (valid for 3 months);
