I am very happy to welcome you on behalf of the President of the Security Council - the most powerful UN body.
Join our committee to apply practically your knowledge in the area of history and politics, to get to know purposeful people and to improve your english vocabulary and speaking skills.
I hope that Historical Model of the UN RSUH will provide you with a huge sense of accomplishment, new friends and invaluable experience. Don't hesitate to apply to the Security Council and we will spend some useful time together and have fun!

Honorable delegates,
It is a great honor for me to welcome you in the UN Security Council on behalf of the Vice-president.
The Middle East has been and remains one of the most complex regions in the world, and the Gulf War only confirms this. At meetings of the Security Council, we will be able to examine in detail the entire path of the conflict and clarify the motives of the warring parties. We will have to hear countries' voices from 1991 and by joint efforts reach a consensus in resolving this issue, based on the norms of international law and morality.
I assure you that sessions of the Security Council will inspire you to participate in future Models UN! Looking forward to seeing you in our committee!

Honourable delegates, I am glad to meet you as an Expert of the Security Council.
This year we are to analyze such a crucial and controversial agenda – the Gulf War and the Iraqis invasion of Kuwait. Unfortunately, the instability in the region that followed tragic events is deeply rooted in history. Therefore, I welcome you to an enthralling time travel in order to brainstorm on post-conflict restoration. Hopefully, our decisions would change the situation for the better.
