The program is aimed at studying historical documents using methods of auxiliary historical disciplines, obtaining a fundamental education in the field of archiving along with basic knowledge and skills in the area of preservation of archival documents, understanding the tasks and methods of restoration with a view to preserving the country's documentary heritage.
The program is distinguished by a wide coverage of all professional competencies of specialists in the field of archiving, including subject-specific education, which makes the graduates competitive in the labor market.

M.A. studies comprise the following tracks: “Documentation and archival studies”, “History”.
