The goal of the program is to study the mega-trends of world politics and economy, interconnections between global and regional processes, analysis of the activities of transnational corporations and their role in modern world political processes. Students master the methods of academic and applied analysis and forecasting of international situations, methods of conducting international negotiations, resolving disputes and finding optimal solutions, acquire skills in working with international indices and ratings, master two foreign languages (choosing from English, Chinese, French, Spanish, German).

Areas of occupation: graduates can engage in research of international relations and global integrated area studies (M.A. and Ph. D. level) and also work in government and business structures, engage in analytical, organizational, communication and translation activities to ensure foreign economic contacts of the Russian Federation with foreign countries and by regions; work in international financial organizations and development banks, in international rating agencies and economic organizations of various profiles.
