Latin American studies

The program is offered at the Knorozov Mesoamerican Center jointly with the Faculty of International Relations and Foreign Area Studies of the Institute of History and Archives of RSUH.

The program is designed for people with a B.A. degree in humanities, social and cultural sciences, as well as for specialists in history, international relations, foreign area studies, political science, economics, law, linguistics, culturology.

Latin America is one of the most distinctive and dynamically developing regions of the world, and the study of the Latin American space, both in its historical aspect and in the context of contemporary issues, is becoming increasingly relevant. The content of the program allows the students to shape their education in accordance with individual interests, which makes the training process more flexible, and expand the scope of their professional activities. The program includes a block of courses providing for an extensive language training (Spanish), including academic and professional Spanish.

Due to the contacts with the Embassy of Mexico, students have the opportunity to participate in the internship program offered by the Agency for International Cooperation of Mexico.
