The program is a unique educational product combining a systematic study of history with in-depth philological and cultural studies. The educational concept of the Institute can be seen as the first attempt in the history of the national higher education to implement a comprehensive program of teaching history, literature, languages and cultures based on broad and fundamental comparative studies, as well as by combining two historical and cultural national phenomena. The goal of historical comparative studies is to explore the ways in which different societies solved problems common for the both of them.
