The program is focused on the formation of comprehensive knowledge of the Americas, taking into account the understanding of the mechanisms of the mutual influence of regionalization and trans-regionalism, the processes taking place at the macro-regional, micro-regional and national levels in their relation to world political trends. The program combines a detailed study of history, socio-economic and cultural development, the political and legal system of the United States (core module), with classes on Canada and Latin America (optional modules) in a comparative context. Students master the skills of intercultural communication, forecasting and modeling processes taking place in the Western Hemisphere, and also learn English as the main language, with Spanish and French as second languages.
