History of Europe

The purpose of the discipline is to form a comprehensive understanding of the general patterns and features of the development of the countries of the European region in the XVI - early XX century.

Within the framework of this course, the following problems are analyzed:

• The physical and cultural framework of Europe. Cultural heritage of the past and innovations of the New time.
• Formation of an ethno-linguistic and confessional map of Eurolie.
• Formation of the political map of Europe and the system of international relations on the European continent.
• The main stages and trends of demographic development of Europe in Modern times.
• Dynamics of socio-economic changes on the European continent in Modern times (with an emphasis on differences in the pace of development of capitalism).
