The two-semester interactive and dispute-oriented course is aimed at developing both the general as well as professional competences of the 2nd-year students of the 4-year BA programme in Applied Philology, in the history of English literature from the Old English period via the Middle English period to its current state, and in the field of literary translation of English prose, verse and drama into the Russian language.
