The purpose of the course — students' mastering of basic skills of special texts literate translation.
Particular objectives — (1) to master the usage of knowledge obtained during studying of "English", "Social Anthropology" and "Human Ethology" courses in reading and translation of special texts; (2) to introduce to students the main principles of translation theory; (3) To teach students giving an expert Russian account of a text translated, keeping in mind grammatical and morphological differences between Russian and English.
