Acting Rector of RSUH Andrei Loginov joined the steering committee of the United Russia Party on January 31.
"I move to have the Rector of RSUH Andrei Loginov become a member of the committee," proposed Sergei Naryshkin.The motion was carried immediately.
The most discussed topic was the upcoming "Victory Dictation", the date of which was set for April 25. From year to year, not only the number of participants, but also the territory of the event is expanding. Thus, the head of the Central Executive Committee of the United Russia Party Alexander Sidyakin said that in 2025 the "Victory Dictation" was planned to be held throughout Russia and in 80 countries around the world.
"We understood the demand for this project and the great interest in the history of the Great Patriotic War not only from our compatriots, but also abroad. Our task was to create favorable conditions so that as many of our citizens and citizens of other countries as possible would participate in this project," said Sergei Naryshkin.
Speaking about secondary education, the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergei Kravtsov made a proposal for a unified visualization of school spaces, in particular, those dedicated to the Great Patriotic War.
Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and Professor of RSUH Konstantin Mogilevsky spoke about the federal-patriotic project "Academic Regiment", during which it is planned to cover the activities of academic organizations during the War, the feats of students and teachers at the front. In addition, the plan of events of the steering committee includes a joint project with Rosmolodezh "We won then - we will win now", which is a series of meetings of students with historians and participants of the Military Operation.
Also, a comparison was made of what is happening in the Special Military Operation zone with the events of the Great Patriotic War.
"A strong sense of connection of time and the continuity of generations is becoming obvious," said Sergei Naryshkin, adding that the organizing committee "Our Victory" and the "Defenders of the Fatherland" foundation would continue to help veterans of the Great Patriotic War and the Operation.
In addition, the meeting discussed the President's decision to award the honorary title "City of Labor Valor" to the cities of Kurgan, Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Ishimbay, Miass, Zelenodolsk, Leninsk-Kuznetsky and Salekhard, as well as the opening of 111 memorial plaques in schools in 40 regions of Russia that participants of the Special Military Operation had been students of.
On December 20, 2024, at a meeting of the State Council, President Putin reminded that in 2025 the country celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, and in honor of the heroes and participants of the Special Military Operation, in memory of the exploits of ancestors who fought for the Motherland in different historical periods, in honor of fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers who crushed Nazism, he declared 2025 the Year of the Defender of the Fatherland.
