From 25 to 31 of May, 2008, the delegation from the University of Nantes, with which the RSUH have signed a contract on scientific and educational cooperation, is located on a working visit in the Russian State University for the Humanities.
From 25 to 31 of May, 2008, the delegation from the University of Nantes, with which the RSUH have signed a contract on scientific and educational cooperation, is located on a working visit in the Russian State University for the Humanities. The delegation consists of Laurent Zhelaber, responsible for cooperation between the Russian State University for the Humanities and the University of Nantes in the field of historical education, and professor of the University of Nantes, Erik Shnakenburg.
On the 26th of May, the rector of the RSUH, Professor Efim I. Pivovar recieved them. During the meeting they discussed issues of the further cooperation between the RSUH and the University of Nantes in the scientific and educational fields. Mr. Zhelaber expressed an interest in a creation between the two universities the joint Master's programme on the history of international relations of Russia and France in XVIII - XX centuries, includes a research and educational directions. This initiative was supported by the rector of the RSUH. Members of negotiations have come to the conclusion that it's necessary to begin preparing of a bilateral agreement to establish a joint Master's programme on the basis of the concluded treaty by the RSUH on a cooperation in the same field with the University of Konstanz (Germany) and taking into account the continuing work in the RSUH for the creation of the Master's programmes with universities of France.
