Collaboration Between RSUH and INION RAS: A Path to New Knowledge in Humanities

Registration is now open for free workshops and tours at the INION RAS Fundamental Library building for RSUH students, faculty, researchers, and all interested individuals.

Starting in February 2025, the Library, in collaboration with RSUH, will launch a series of workshops and tours of INION. Participants will learn about the Institute's functional specialization, its branch libraries, and the process of acquiring Russian and foreign-language book resources for the library's collections.

The workshops are led by Sergei Sokolov, head of the Research Department of Library Science. The goal is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary for successful information work in academic, scientific, and professional life. The Library is one of the largest centralized library networks specializing in social sciences and humanities.

    The reading rooms of the Library on Nakhimovsky Prospekt offer a vast collection of literature and other resources:
  • Approximately 10,000 foreign books, published between 2015 and 2024;
  • Numerous new foreign journals in print;
  • Electronic collections of Springer, Wiley, and SAGE;
  • All new domestic literature copies;
  • Access to the National Electronic Library (NEB) and collections from the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology RAS and CEMI.

Workshops and tours are held at the library building at 51/21 Nakhimovsky Prospekt, Moscow. All participants will receive INION RAS library cards.
