On October 11, the grand opening of the annual academic forum "Student Science Days of RSUH" was held at RSUH, combined with an open meeting of the Council of Young Scholars. Important research-related issues were discussed at the event.
The event began with a welcoming speech from the executives of the University. Acting Rector Andrei Loginov outlined the importance of developing student science at the University and emphasized the significance of the Forum. He also noted that over 4,000 students in 60 academic fields participate in research work every year. Over the past year, the University has held 200 student conferences, 20 exhibitions, its representatives made 1,500 presentations at conferences and published over 500 papers.
Vice-Rector Pavlenko spoke about the results, achievements and prospects of student science at RSUH. In addition, she shared plans for the 2024/2025 academic year, which included student paper competition "The Future of Russia through the Eyes of Youth", a competition "My First Monograph", the publication of the book series "Find a Word", and a collection of proposals for the development of the infrastructure of academic activity.
The award ceremony was traditionally based on the results of the student academic competitions "Third-Year Research Student of RSUH" and "Thesis Competition".
Dr. Ershova, Director of the Knorozov Center, summed up the results of the competition for the Knorozov scholarship in 2024 and named the winners.
As part of the Opening of the Days of Student Science, a meeting of the Council of Young Scholars was held, at which Evgenia Dolgova, Chairperson of the CYS, presented the work plan of the Council for 2024-2025.
