By a decision of the Academic Council, School of Curators is being held at RSUH from June 18, 2024. The event is attended by faculty and staff from all departments. They will help freshmen adapt to student life. 117 curators will be involved in this activity in the 2024-2025 academic year.
On the first day of training, Dr. Bolkvadze, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Social Work, made a presentation on the implementation of youth policy at RSUH and the results of the 2023-2024 academic year. Next, Dr. Balashov, Head of the Office for Work with Students and Dr. Davletshin, Head of the Department for Educational work with Students, spoke about the important aspects of the curator’s activities and the documents necessary for effective work. Dr. Merkulova, Head of the Department for Social Affairs of Students, informed the participants about the conditions for spots in the dormitories and financial assistance to students. On the second day, the participants will learn about patterns of youth behavior, psychological characteristics of interaction with students, and the prevention of stress in working with students. Then experts will tell the curators about the structure of student self-government, the involvement of senior students in the adaptation of first-year students, and the specificities of organizing the educational process.
