Today, we celebrate the 34th anniversary of the Russian State University for the Humanities.
RSUH was founded on March 27, 1991, based on the Moscow State Institute of History and Archives. However, its history dates back to 1930, when the Institute of Archival Studies was established.
Over nearly a century, RSUH has grown into the country's leading liberal arts university. It has preserved the traditions of fundamental education while also becoming a leader in socio-humanitarian sciences in Russia and across the post-Soviet space.
RSUH continues to evolve, with 14 institutes covering key liberal arts fields and applied information technologies. Its educational programs are regularly updated to meet the market demands, and learning is becoming increasingly technological and innovative.
We wish our University continued prosperity, new achievements, and a strong position among Russia’s top universities.
