From March 30 to April 15, the 14th International Humanitarian Forum will be held at RSUH. It is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the creation of RSUH, the 90th anniversary of the Institute of History and Archives and the 25th anniversary of the Museum Center of RSUH.
The Forum will be held as part of the annual Readings in Humanities of RSUH.
The Forum will open on March 30 with a session of the Academic Council of RSUH, attended by the management body of the University, scholars, historians, professors of the world's leading universities, representatives of the Russian Academy of Sciences, State Duma representatives and other high-ranking officials.
A happy anniversary has already been wished by University of Paris 1, University of Cambridge, University of Freiburg, Milan State University, Chiba University, Uppsala University, Tokyo University of Foreign Languages, Charles University in Prague, Ural Federal University, Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University, Egyptian-Russian University and many others.
Russian State University for the Humanities was established on March 27, 1991, growing out of Moscow State Institute of History and Archives.
Now RSUH is a leading Russian university in the field of humanities and social sciences. Over 70 full members and corresponding members of Russian and foreign academies, over 200 Associate Professors and over 500 Assistant Professors work here.
On March 30, the exhibition “We bring the Museum to you!” will be unveiled, timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Museum Center of RSUH.
The Museum Center was founded in 1996 and consists of several subdivisions: Tsvetaev Educational Art Museum (section of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts), exposition "Other Art", exposition "RSUH is us".
Celebrations marking the anniversary of the Institute of History and Archives will be held on April 9.
Founded in 1930, the Institute of History and Archives right away became an renowned center for training historians and archivists.
Today the specialists of the Institute are regarded as experts both in research and analytical work. An archivist and document expert, graduating from the Institute, is the embodiment of one of the RSUH mottos: “Centuries-old traditions - modern technologies”.
The Forum, will host 42 events at two sites, in the main building of on Miusskaya Square and on Nikolskaya Street.
The Faculty of History of the Institute of History and Archives and the Knorozov Center will hold a conference "Archaeological Projects of RSUH in Guatemala".
The project "Discourse of state power in ancient societies and the reception of its elements in foreign and Russian socio-political practices" will take place at the Department of the History of the Ancient World of the Institute of Oriental Cultures and Classics.
Students will present the results of their research projects as part of the competition "Student project research teams of RSUH".
The Faculty of History will hold the conference "Academic schools of the Faculty of History: Traditions and Modernity".
The Knorozov Center will present the project "Ethnic semiotics and semiotics of culture." The Institute of Philology and History will hold the conference “Literature, History and Language: Research Projects of the Institute of Philology and History”.
The Forum program includes the exhibition "3Da Vinci, an open laboratory of digital humanities”, a conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Dr. Neklyudov, professor of RSUH, one of the most prominent Russian folklore scholars.

Please accept my heartiest congratulations and best wish for your 60th anniversary. This is a wonderful celebration for all of us in the international world of teaching and research.
For over sixty years I have been working for close intellectual and cultural relations between the USA and the USSR/Russia. We all rejoiced at the founding of your University and the later establishment of its Center for American Studies. In all of its teaching and research, the work of ten consecutive yearly International Conferences has added a significant contribution to a more profound understanding of American Studies and to a furtherance of warm cultural and intellectual relations between our two countries.
I hope that for the next sixty years my spirit and the continuation of our mutual work continue to add warmth and understanding between our two cultures.

Уважаемый коллега, уважаемый Александр Борисович, для меня большая радость, что я могу по такому радостному событию представиться вам как новый ректор университета Альберта Людвига и поздравить Вас от всего сердца с юбилеем. Ваш университет по сравнению с университетом Альберта Людвига еще молод, но история развития Историко-Архивного Института до РГГУ показывает впечатляющий путь.
Нам тем более приятно быть вашими многолетними партнерами. Я думаю, мы можем продемонстрировать серьезные результаты. Из небольшого институтского партнерства между кафедрой германской филологии РГГУ и Семинаром Славиститки нашего университета возникла модель международного сотрудничества – совместная магистерская программа с двумя дипломами, совместное обучение аспирантов и наконец общая международная аспирантура и докторантура, поддержанная ДФГ (Немецким Научным Фондом) и до сих пор остающаяся единственной совместной аспирантурой между Россией и Германией при поддержке ДФГ.
Наше сотрудничество имело успех у политиков: в прошлом году мы получили награду за совместную работу от обоих министров наших стран в Берлине. Мы очень гордимся этим успехом и благодарим людей, которые стоят за ним, прежде всего проф. Элизабет Шоре, которая является также почетным доктором РГГУ, проф. Дирка Кемпера и проф. Наталию Бакши.
Я от всего сердца поздравляю Ваш университет и всех его членов с юбилеем и желаю всего самого хорошего и дальнейших успехов. Совместная работа наших университетов дает надежду и одновременно является гарантом научного диалога между Германией и Россией, прежде всего в такие тяжелые времена, как сейчас.

Дорогие коллеги! Примите наши искренние поздравления с 90-летием Российского государственного гуманитарного университета. Соглашение об академическом обмене между РГГУ и Токийским университетом было заключено в марте 1998 года. С тех пор осуществляется не только сотрудничество между преподавателями наших вузов, но и студенческие обмены, в которых мы достигли особых успехов. В программах обмена приняли участие не менее 15 студентов с каждой из сторон. Многие из тех, кто был отправлен нашим вузом на обучение в РГГУ, стали ведущими исследователями в области русистики. В настоящее время они преподают в разных университетах Японии, в том числе и в Токийском университете. Примите нашу глубочайшую признательность за Ваш неоценимый вклад в развитие деятельности Токийского университета и искренние пожелания дальнейшего процветания РГГУ.
