On April 7, 2023, as part of the Humanities Readings, students of the Center “New Russia. History of Post-Soviet Russia" of the Institute of History and Archives of RSUH took part in the student round table "Regional authorities and information society".
The event was organized by Dr. Margarita Shushkova, 3rd year students majoring in history of modern Russia Anastasia Yanushevich, Alexei Kozhevnikov and Tamara Filippova. The main purpose of the Table was to draw attention to the concept of development of information society at the regional level using information and telecommunication technologies.
In the presentation “Overview of the status of official websites of the governments of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation”, Dr. Margarita Shushkova noted that the digitalization of the activities of regional authorities created conditions for the development of the information society in the region, increased the level of transparency and efficiency of interaction between authorities and population and laid a solid foundation for the further development of a regional civil society.
