RSUH faculty members took part in the educational program “Voice of a Generation. Teachers"

On May 10-11, 2024, a team of teachers involved in the implementation of youth policy and educational activities at RSUH took part in the educational program “Voice of a Generation. Teachers." The program was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and FADM (Rosmolodezh).

The Voice of a Generation” is a program about the importance and value of humanitarian knowledge in the process of educating young people, about the enthusiasm and energy of teachers, about new forms and methods of interaction with students, about the transmission of knowledge, experience, human values to the younger generation.

The Energy of Life pavilion became a powerful educational space for more than a hundred young representatives of higher education organizations.

On the first day, the educational block was opened by Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Olga Petrova. She spoke about the features of the implementation of youth policy and educational activities in higher education organizations and clearly demonstrated its main indicators.

In the afternoon, Member of the Russian Academy of Education, Dr. Viktor Basyuk, introduced the audience to the concept of the Great Ideofield of public self-identity, and spoke about the processes of formation and strengthening of traditional Russian values.

The program of the second day included a lecture on the role of humanitarian knowledge in the education of the individual delivered by an ecclesiastic and public figure, journalist, teacher, specialist in the field of cultural studies Vladimir Leygoda.

An interesting lecture about education in geopolitical context was delivered by a MGIMO research fellow Sergei Markedonov. Mr. Denis Ashirov, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, spoke about the youth policy ecosystem, opportunities and projects for young people. Also on this day, the metaphorical game “The World is in Your Hands” took place, in which the participants collectively created the “World of Humanitarian Knowledge”.

“The Voice of a Generation” is a large-scale and creative educational project about methods for implementing youth policy in universities. During the two days of the project, teachers from RSUH and other universities took part in a discussion on the topic “The role of a teacher of social and humanitarian disciplines in education”, in interactive games and master classes, and also worked in groups and exchanged experience. I express my sincere gratitude to our University for creating conditions for the comprehensive development of teachers and students.
