On November 12, a meeting was held between Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Vera Zabotkina and a representative of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, member of the NEBRICS research group and expert of the Valdai Club Fabiano Melnichuk.
Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of RSUH Vera Zabotkina, Vice-Rector for Research Olga Pavlenko, Acting Director of the Department of International Cooperation Olga Trofimova, Director of the International Russian-Brazilian Center Lyudmila Baturina and a representative of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, member of the NEBRICS research group, expert of the Valdai Club Fabiano Melnichuk discussed the prospects of cooperation in the implementation of joint undergraduate and graduate programs with RSUH, double degree programs and the possibility of conducting online courses in English.
The program of Fabiano Melnichuk's visit included a lecture for students of the Faculty of International Relations on the topic «The Role of BRICS in the Unification of Countries Outside the "Collective West"».
Brazil is one of the key foreign partners of the RSUH, cooperate as it does with the University on more than ten educational tracks, the main ones being:
• psychology;
• international relations and political science;
• literature;
• history and digital archives;
• art history;
• linguistics;
• digital humanities.
