Abkhazian politician Badra Gunba met with Moscow students at RSUH on Nikolskaya, 15.
Mr. Gunba said:
"Supporting youth is a factor of stability and the preservation of Abkhazian statehood. The Republic of Abkhazia is already developing a state program that will help young people become the driving force of the country."
The politician also said that the new state program aims to attract young professionals, including those in government positions. A key element of the program will be a competitive selection process for specialists and the creation of conditions for their career growth.
Speaking to students, Mr. Gunba outlined one of his team’s key priorities – supporting young professionals and creating a mechanism for their entry into government. He reiterated that competitive selection and career growth opportunities would be central to the program.
Mr. Gunba also shared his personal story of returning to his homeland after studying in Russia:
"I was always drawn to my homeland. I knew that there were fewer opportunities there, but I wanted to apply my knowledge and experience, which I believed could be useful for our country. I returned in 2007, even before the recognition of independence. It was very important for me to contribute."
