The first session of the Academic Council in 2025

On January 28, a session of the Academic Council was held, where the new Vice-Rector for Development was introduced, the program of the "Academic Platform of RSUH" announced, candidates for membership and corresponding membership of the RAS nominated.

The session began with the introduction of the new Vice-Rector for Development, Sergei Pilipenko.

The new program for supporting academic and pedagogical schools, "Academic Platform of RSUH", was presented by the Academic Director of RSUH Efim Pivovar. According to him, the main objectives of the project will be to connect the academic and educational centers of the University with the program for the prospective development provided by the RAS.

    The following academic awards were presented:
  • The Medal for Outstanding Services from the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Education was awarded to Efim Pivovar, Academic Director of RSUH;
  • A letter of gratitude from the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia was presented to Albina Davletshina, Head of the Department for Educational Work with Students.

    The Certificate of "Honored Worker of RSUH" was awarded to:
  • Irina Bukhtereva, Professor of the Department of National and World Economy;
  • Svetlana Dzhavadova, Professor of the Department of National and World Economy;
  • Anna Osipovskaya, Professor of the Department of Finance and Credit.

    For their conscientious work and high qualifications, Vice-Rector for Research and Project Activities Olga Pavlenko recommended the following University staff and faculty members for the Certificate of Honor:
  • Arkady Danilin, teacher of the College of Humanities;
  • Galina Semiletova, assistant to the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs;
  • Ekaterina Khalepa, leading document specialist of the Graduate Studies Office.

The following candidates for membership and corresponding membership of the RAS were nominated: Vasily Khristoforov, Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, Political Science and Foreign Area Studies, and Andrei Usachev, Professor of the Department of History and Theory of Historical Science.

The following faculty members were recommended for the title of Assistant Professor: Marina Korotkova, Elena Pyatsheva, Sergey Seregichev and Yulia Revvo.

At the end of the session, the Academic Council established the amount of the increased state academic scholarship. Also, compared to 2024, the payment standards were increased regarding the financial support for orphans and children left without parental care.
