"We place great importance on the admissions campaign because we understand that the applicants choosing our University are making one of the most crucial decisions of their lives. If this choice is well-informed and correct, its consequences will only be positive," said Acting Rector of RSUH Andrei Loginov in his welcoming speech.
On March 16, RSUH hosted an Open Door Day for prospective students applying to Bachelor's and Specialist programs. Currently, RSUH consists of 14 institutes, more than 20 faculties, as well as over 100 departments. In 2025, RSUH offers applicants 262 majors and specializations.
Olga Makarevich, Head of the Department of Career Guidance and Admissions at RSUH, spoke about the importance and goals of this event:
"The opportunities we provide to our students and colleagues, we offer them with all our heart and soul because we love our work and our University. We truly want you to be part of this commitment," emphasized Dr. Loginov.
He added that RSUH students received a broad social and liberal art education, as all University divisions closely interacted complementing and enhancing one another.
As part of their introduction to the institutes and faculties, applicants were able to receive info on dormitory, employment opportunities, and additional education programs. A separate consultation was held for international applicants.
It is worth noting that on March 1, 2025, a new University Admissions Procedure came into effect. The new rules establish unified deadlines for document submission, and for enrollment, it is now sufficient to submit a confirmation of admission instead of the original diploma. Applicants for targeted education will also have the opportunity to earn an additional 5 points for participating in career guidance events. It will remain in effect until September 1, 2029.
