Opening of the exhibition "For the 100th anniversary of the founders of academic schools of RSUH: Sigurd Ottovich Schmidt and Olga Mikhailovna Medushevskaya"

On October 20, the Library of RSUH hosted the opening of the exhibition "For the 100th anniversary of the founders of academic schools of RSUH: Sigurd Ottovich Schmidt and Olga Mikhailovna Medushevskaya".

The opening ceremony was attended by Rector Bezborodov, Executive Director of the History of the Fatherland Foundation Dr. Konstantin Mogilevsky, students, faculty and staff of RSUH.

Dr. Sigurd Schmidt and Dr. Olga Medushevskaya are significant names for Russian science, whose academic biography was inextricably linked with the Institute of History and Archives, and then with RSUH. The educated a whole school of students who have continued the traditions of their teachers.

The Exhibition was prepared by the creative group “Sigurd Ottovich Schmidt” of 4th year bachelor-museologists: Amirkhanova Rufina, Egorova Polina, Lapina Anna, Rostovtseva Elizaveta, Ryabinina Elizaveta, Speshinskaya-Zorich Maria, Yaichkina Tatyana; creative group "Olga Mikhailovna Medushevskaya": Gamidova Suzanna, Mironov Daniil, Omelchenko Ekaterina, Tarasova Christina, Tsatsashvili Bella, Shikhova Anastasia, Yurova Daria.

The project leaders are Professor of the Department of Museology Dr. Cherkaeva, Director of the Academic Library of RSUH Dr. Batova, Professor and Acting Head of the Department of Museology Dr. Stefko.
