On the 29th of September the opening of a permanent exposition “The Art of Ancient Mexico” took place in RSUH. It was organized jointly by Museum Center, National Institute of Anthropology and History in Mexico and Mexico Embassy in Russian Federation.The new exposition pays homage to creative genius of ancient Mexicans. Presented museum pieces – are copies of ancient subjects, but they also allow estimate cultural heritage of ancient Mexico.In the solemn opening ceremony took part S.M. Mironov, chairman of Federation Council of Federative Assembly, A.A. Fursenko, minister of Education and Science in Russian Federation, Lusiano Zublan, Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Mexico in Russian Federation, I. V. Karapetjans, acting as rector of RSUH, rector-elect of RSUH V.V. Minaev, Y.N. Afanasiev, president of RSUH, G.G. Ershova, head of the scholastic-scientific Mesoamerican Knorosov center, I.V. Bakanova, director of Museum center in RSUH.
