International student conference “European Union and Russia: political and cultural cooperation”.

From the 2nd till the 7th of July an international student conference “European Union and Russia: political and cultural cooperation” took place in RSUH. After the EU expansion, which took place on the 1st of May, this is a first event of such a scale and format in Russian Federation, dedicated to the theme of the relationships between Europe Union and Russian Federation. During the Forum the already established relationships, their formation, development, and possible perspectives were discussed.The work of the Forum began from the welcoming word of I. V. Karapetjans, acting as rector of RSUH, and was continued by the speeches of prominent guests such as Vincent Peeke, charge d’affaires ad interim of European Commission Representative Office in Russian Federation, Mr. Tiddo Hofste, ambassador of The Kingdom of Netherlands, Klelia Rontoyany, representative of political department of European Commission Representative Office in Russian Federation, Kris Buckster, director of British Council in Moscow and many others.
