This year, almost 5,000 people became students of RSUH. The ceremony took place on September 1 in the courtyard of the University
The event began with the performance of the national anthem of the Russian Federation and the raising of the Russian flag, after which Rector Bezborodov wished the first-year students and their parents a happy Knowledge Day.
“I am glad to welcome you all to this ceremony! You are all an integral part of our great team, the RSUH family!”- said the Rector. He also mentioned the importance of preserving the knowledge acquired within the University, and the significance of liberal arts education for the future of our Fatherland.
President Pivovar, First Vice-Rector Pavlenko, and Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Social Work Irakli Bolkvadze also addressed the participants with welcoming remarks.
The official part began with the presentation of certificates and memorable awards to students who had been directly involved in the work of Admissions 2023. Vice-Rector Irakli Bolkvadze awarded the winners of the “Best Curator of RSUH” competition, who received prizes and letters of recognition from the Rector.
One of the most memorable moments of the ceremony of initiation into RSUH 2023 students was the parade of international students. Students from twenty-eight countries who entered the university this year walked across the stage with flags and greeted all participants in the event.
The event was organized by the Office of Student Affairs.
