Mr. Yurchikhin spoke about his difficult path towards achieving his dream profession, his space flights, his childhood, relationship with his parents, his hobbies and about the people he was inspired by.
Vice-Rector Bolkvadze thanked the guest of honor for visiting the University on the eve of Cosmonautics Day.
The main role model for Mr. Yurchikhin was Yuri Gagarin. The Hero of Russia emphasized that in his school years he had studied all the information that could be found about the first man who had gone to space. The cosmonaut said: "I am a truly happy person, because I have become what I dreamed of being since childhood."
