Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov Congratulated Scientists on Russian Science Day

This holiday is not only an occasion to remember the great achievements of the past but also an opportunity to look into the future that we are building today.

We proudly recall the outstanding Russian scientists and engineers whose names are forever inscribed in the history of world science.

Nikolai Zhukovsky, the founder of hydro- and aerodynamics; Sergey Korolev, who opened the path to space for humanity; Andrey Tupolev, the creator of legendary aircraft – these are just a few examples of how the inventions of our scientists set the pace for scientific and technological progress worldwide.

Today’s scientists and engineers continue this glorious tradition. Thanks to your efforts, Russia remains a leader in nuclear energy, medicine, and is achieving success in artificial intelligence and many other fields.

We take great pride in the significant growth of interest in science among schoolchildren and students. More and more young scholars are joining our research organizations. At the same time, cooperation between universities, research institutes, and the real sector of the economy is strengthening.

For its part, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia is creating the necessary conditions for scientific creativity. Laboratory equipment is being modernized, grant support is being strengthened, and new youth laboratories are being opened.

Dear colleagues! May your work always be in demand, and may your ideas come to life. I wish you good health, boundless energy, and new discoveries that will strengthen the power and prosperity of our Motherland.
