The project was selected as an example of the best practice during the panel discussion “Academic tourism for sustainable development of regions”.

In the second day, a closed meeting was held with Mr. Andrei Fursenko, Aide to the President of the Russian Federation. Andrei Aleksandrovich noted the value of Yuri Knorozov's contribution to the development of Soviet and international science, and also emphasized the need to preserve the legacy of the Soviet researcher.

There was also a discussion where the participants spore about new measures to support young scholars and interaction with organizations such as the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Russian Science Foundation, as well as state corporations, regional foundations and institutions involved in supporting research and development.

Dr. Azernikova and Dr. Pyatygina express their deep gratitude to Dr. Evgenia Dolgova, Head of the Council of Young Scholars of the RSUH, for her help.
