Exhibition “To Pushkin - from the students of today"

On June 6, the International Day of the Russian Language and the 225th anniversary of the birth of the poet, the opening of the exhibition “To Pushkin – from the students of today” took place. This project is the first in a series of exchange student exhibitions organized by the Museum Center of RSUH.

The exhibition was opened by Dr. Irina Bakanova, Director of the Museum Center of RSUH. She noted the invaluable contribution of Alexander Pushkin to the formation and development of the Russian language and Russian culture in general and emphasized that the relevance of the works of this great poet and prose writer was evidenced by the posters of musical, dramatic performances and films based on the works of Pushkin, as well as the books at the Exhibition designed by the students of the International Academy of Business and Management (track "Graphic Design").

The project manager, Elena Enenko, Professor of the Art Design Center of RSUH, drew attention to the fact that the exhibition policy of the RSUH Museum Center was carried out concurrent with the educational programs of the University. The Pushkin exhibition is associated with the track “Graphic Design”, implemented under the guidance of Professor Galina Volkova.  The exhibition was created based on the principle of exchange of experience between students of related tracks.

Dr. Anatoly Tsaryuk, Director of the Institute of Design and Advertising, spoke about the benefits of exchanging experience in the field of professional training of students, the importance of introducing young creators to the works of the colleagues.  He invited RSUH students with an exchange exhibition to his university.

One of the project participants, the Institute of Design and Advertising student Anastasia Slesareva, spoke about her approaches to developing the concept of graphic design of Pushkin’s works and shared her intention to continue working with Pushkin’s plots and character images.

The Exhibition is organized by the Museum Center of RSUH, the Faculty of Art History of RSUH, the Art Design Center and International Academy of Business and Management.
