In honor of Volunteer Day, on December 5, an award ceremony was held in the Assembly Hall for the most active RSUH students participating in charitable activities.
In the nomination "Best RSUH Volunteer", 14 students were awarded commendations from Acting Rector Loginov for outstanding achievements. Another 25 students received letters of gratitude for participating in city and all-Russian charity projects: the "Street of the Name" campaign from the Moscow City Duma, the International Conference in honor of the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights from the Public Chamber, public control at the 2024 Unified State Exam, the All-Russian Patriotic Competition "Sons and Daughters of the Fatherland", the 15th Moscow International Historical UN Model RSUH, and other events.
"RSUH Volunteer Center was created in 2007, and it was a small group, just a couple of dozen people. It all started with a simple initiative and was restricted just to RSUH. And today we all know about the activities and scale of the RSUH Volunteer Center and its successes," said Maksim Balashov, Acting Director of the Department of Work with Students.
RSUH volunteer movement has a rich history and is very popular among students. The work of Volunteer Center began in 2007, and today it is the largest among student associations at RSUH. Every year, our volunteers take part in more than 85 events both within the University and at external venues.
