A lecture was held at the Institute History and Archives with the participation of an invited expert, Dr. Gulvaira Kutsenko, a member of the Council for Interethnic Relations under the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia, President of the Interregional Public Organization "Information and Educational Network of Indigenous Peoples Lyioravetlian".
A lecture was held at the Institute History and Archives with the participation of an invited expert, Dr. Gulvaira Kutsenko, a member of the Council for Interethnic Relations under the President of the Russian Federation, Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia, President of the Interregional Public Organization "Information and Educational Network of Indigenous Peoples Lyioravetlian".
Gulvaira Kudenovna spoke about the role and place of ethno-cultural NGOs in the implementation of the strategy of the state national policy of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2025.
Using the example of the Interregional Public Organization “Lyioravetlian” headed by Gulvira Kudenovna, the participants discussed in detail the specifics of NPO activities in the field of interethnic relations, the preservation and development of the culture of indigenous peoples of Russia. The expert spoke about the most creative projects of the organization: a series of printed publications (comics and coloring books), cartoons and songs for at children.
Students learned about the peoples classified as indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of Russia, about the measures of state support extended to their representatives, about the types of their traditional economic activities.
In addition, Gulvaira Kudenovna answered students' questions about the activities of the Assembly of Peoples of Russia, participation in the work of various UN structures and bodies, and raising money for public organizations.
