The Festival of Mentors was held at the Senezh Management Workshop. It brought together 50 mentors and 50 representatives of the best mentoring practices from 44 regions of Russia, who had become winners of the All-Russian Mentoring Competition.
The welcoming speech of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko was read by the Director of the Department of State Policy in the Area of Secondary Vocational Education and Vocational Training of the Ministry of Education Viktor Neumyvakin, who said:
"We continue to form a sovereign education system in Russia. President Putin emphasizes that issues of education and mentoring are always an appeal to the future. The role of mentors for the younger generation is hard to overestimate. You not only give children knowledge and a path to the profession, but also help to raise patriotic, socially responsible citizens. This is the national goal set by the Head of State. Its achievement will be facilitated by the development of mentoring for the period up to 2030, which is currently being carried out on the instructions of the President".
