On July 16, the executives of RSUH met with a delegation from the Islamic Republic of Iran to discuss issues of cooperation and the subsequent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.
The meeting was attended by Acting Rector Andrey Loginov, Vice-Rector for Research Olga Pavlenko, Acting Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Vera Zabotkina, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Pavel Shkarenkov, Head of the Office of International Relations Olga Trofimova and Chair of the Department of European Languages Tatyana Kovalevskaya.
The Iranian delegation was represented by the Deputy Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), Director of the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute (NSTRI) Feghhi Seyed Amir Hossein and General Director of Bioforte LLC Igor Morozov.
The parties discussed the prospects for the development of relations between RSUH and Iranian universities, joint research, academicexchange, and long-term cooperation in the field of education and science. Dr. Loginov noted that RSUH was interested in expanding ties with Iranian colleagues and was ready to implement joint projects.
Following the meeting, the parties decided to sign a Memorandum of Understanding. This document provides for the development of a large-scale flexible mechanism for exchanging experience, expanding humanitarian contacts, organizing joint events and implementing joint projects in the future.
