Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark into the Russian Federation, Per Carlsen, noted that he presented at the Days of Denmark in the RSUH, which have become a tradition, for the third year and mentioned the importance of further development of the cooperation between educational institutions of Denmark and our university.
Professor Ufe Ostergord (Higher Business School, Copenhagen) made a report on the theme "New Europe and New Russia: prospects and challenges of mutual dialogue". He pointed out the main stages of the formation of European nation states and the European Union, stressed the great role of the organization in the modern world. In his view, the European Union is the perspective economic project, although it hasn't still quite held from the political point of view. He noted that the key principle of unification in the framework of the European Union is "unity in the diversity", and recognized the special significance of this structure for the small nation states.
After the screening "The main boss" (Direktoren for det hele) by Lars von Trier participants were invited to the opening of the exhibition by the folk artist of Russia, Nikolay A. Ustinov, "Our Andersen".
