On May 26, 2023, the final session of the Club of Young Historians of the RSUH took place. The meeting was held at the State Public Historical Library of Russia.
The participants were welcomed by the academic secretary Marianna Andreicheva and a representative of the academic and educational department of the Library, a graduate student of the Department of History and Theory of Historical Science of the Faculty of History, Mr. Ilya Agafonov. They spoke about the plans of the Historical Library.
The main work of the meeting was built around the presentation of the Executive Secretary of the Club, a third-year student of the Faculty of History Artem Beloglazov, titled "Nelson Mandela in Russia: touches on intellectual biography", made within the framework of RSUH project "Intellectual biography in the studies of young historians" (competition "Student project research teams of RSUH). The presenter spoke of the evolution of the ideological attitudes of one of the most prominent political leaders of the 20th century, highlighting those that concerned the USSR and its successor, the Russian Federation.
