On the 16th of October, 2008, Berkeley Party, which was organized by the English language department, took place in the Russian State University for the Humanities. This event – is a presentation of education in the Summer School of the Berkeley University, California, and traditional meeting of those, who had pass a course in this prestigious American University. Returned from the Summer School students told to beginners about their impressions, shared their advices and considerations of organizational character, memories of journey, study and trips.
Deputy Director on summer programs of Berkeley, Darin Menlove, told, that the RSUH – is one official partner of the Berkeley University in Russia, and noted that students of the RSUH, entering the Summer School, are well grounded. He reminded that the cooperation between RSUH and Berkeley is being development for the 4th year, and American University is happy to work with such serious, prestigious University. Darin Menlove told that Berkeley is one of the leading Universities in the USA, which in summer opens its doors for students, wishing to improve English language or one or another course of Berkeley, from the entire world. He expressed the belief that the program will be interesting for many students.
