On August 31, a traditional meeting with students of the Faculty of History of RSUH took place in the Central Hall of RSUH. The honorary guest of the event was Konstantin Mogilevsky, a graduate of the Institute of History and Archives of RSUH, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, co-chairman of the Russian Historical Society. Rector Bezborodov and President Pivovar also attended the meeting
Mr. Mogilevsky spoke on the high potential of RSUH and its long-standing educational traditions.
“I am glad to see here, in this hall, so many young historians, future professionals in their field. The historical specialty has always occupied a special place in humanities,” he said.
He also spoke about the challenges facing historical science today, listed the most significant projects in this field of knowledge and shared his memories of the years spent at the Institute.
Of particular interest was the issue of organizing international conferences, such as the First Russian-Belarusian Forum, held in June under the auspices of the Russian Historical Society and RSUH.
