The event was held on May 30, 2023, organized by the Center for Visual Studies of the Middle Ages and Modern Times of RSUH.Dr. Khristoforova, Director of the Center for Typology and Semiotics of Folklore, spoke at the seminar. Her presentation dealt with the logic and mechanisms of semiosis in Cuban santeria. As in other syncretic religious systems, the material world of Santeria amazes with its diversity and hypersemioticity.
