On April 25, the sixth meeting of the seminar "Cultural Heritage and the Policy of Memory in International Relations in the 21st Century" was held at RSUH. The main topic was the policy of memory of WWII as an element of interstate relations in the modern world.
The academic supervisor of the Seminar, Professor Tamara Guzenkova, talked about how over time the perception of these events had been changing depending on the geopolitical situation in the world.
Political scientist Dr. Evgenia Pimenova made a presentation in which she spoke about Germany in the post-war period and the formation of a new historical narrative in it. The main topic was the story of Germany overcoming its own tragic past.
The students made presentations on the understanding and interpretation of the historical heritage of the World War II and the Great Patriotic War in our times.
