This year the 7th all-Russian Area Studies Readings took place in two cities on May 13-17, timed to coincide with two commemorative dates: the 400th anniversary of the Romanov Dynasty and the 135th anniversary of Omsk Historical and Area Studies Museum. RSUH Institute of History and Archives hosted the event in Moscow.
