Russian State University for the Humanities and JSC Kribrum to be strategic partners

A strategic partnership agreement was signed between RSUH and JSC Kribrum, which specializes in real-time monitoring and analysis of social media

Rector Bezborodov emphasized the importance of information security, especially at the present time. “A lot of university-wide work has been done. And now the leading university in Russia, the Russian State University for the Humanities, is in partnership with the leading company "Kribrum", said the Rector.

Kribrum is a research and technology company that has been collecting, storing and analyzing data from open sources of the information space for more than ten years. The company's long-term archive is a 3-petabyte database.

The Institute of Heritage and Modern Society of RSUH initiated the partnership. As part of the strategic partnership agreement, an agreement was signed on the implementation of the educational program for international students "Analysis of socio-political processes in the information space".

Dr. Shunikov, Director of the Institute of Continuing Education, spoke the program: “The continuing education at RSUH, jointly with Kribrum, is reaching a new level. It is aimed at cooperation with strategically important countries for Russia, such as the countries of Africa and the East.”

First Vice-Rector Pavlenko noted the prospects for strategic partnership: "This is a wonderful program, it is of great importance for the university."

Dr. Smirnova, Director of the Institute of Heritage and Contemporary Society of RSUH, said: “Interest in the program is very high. Everyone understands that information sovereignty is a part of national sovereignty and must be ensured. The program we started working on today is the first step. We are interested in scaling it up.”

President Pivovar noted: “This is a true and significant stage of work. Security in the information environment, information policy is more important today than ever.”

Kribrum is ready to accept 20 students from RSUH this academic year and develop several educational programs for the University.
