On March 7, the 2nd year students of the Faculty of Archiving and Documentation visited the exhibition "Common Language" at the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts
The project explores the diverse forms of human communication, attempts to find a common language through the wisdom of creeds, geographical discoveries, everyday rituals and the ongoing exchange of information.
A tour was conducted by Dr. Goryaeva, curator of the Exhibition.
Having visited seven sections of the exhibition, the students got acquainted with works of fine and decorative art, books and documents created using various writing systems: from Egyptian papyri, cuneiform to Novgorod birch-bark documents.
