On December 5, RSUH hosted the All-Russian festival-championship of media-volunteering “#DobroMedia”, organized by the Faculty of Advertising and PR with the support of the Student Affairs Department.
The Festival brought together more than 350 students from 17 cities of Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Ufa, Stavropol, Krasnodar, Simferopol, Izhevsk, Krasnoyarsk, Tomsk, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Vladivostok, Saratov, Samara and Tver.
The Festival is aimed at developing and supporting volunteering and searching for young talents in the field of information coverage and mass communications, as well as helping various organizations to promote their charitable and social projects.
The event was organized by students Maxim Kalugin and Ruslan Sharafutdinov under the guidance of Dean Alan Abaev and Associate Professor of the Department of Integrated Communications and Advertising Elena Nasyrova, directly under the patronage of Vice-Rector Irakli Bolkvadze.
Participants had to solve 8 cases by developing communication campaigns for charitable social projects.
A total of 87 projects were submitted. In an intense competition with the teams from other universities, RSUH students of advertisement and PR took 4 prizes: in the nomination "Development of a PR strategy for the Media Lab ecosystem for 2023", 2nd place was given to the team "Late Everywhere" (2nd year students Svetlana Kapanzhi, Liza Topalova, team leader Dr. Elena Nasyrova) and 3rd place was awarded to the team "The Doing Girls" (1st year students Anastasia Pogodina, Valeria Kycheva, Anastasia Veretyakhina, team leader Dr. Anna Golova).
An online broadcast was organized from the festival site, which collected more than 3,400 views.During the Festival, leading domestic experts in the communications industry spoke to the participants about how to properly build communication in the media space, become a sought-after specialist in the market, and how to avoid basic mistakes when implementing a communication strategy.
