The conference, that took place July 19, outlined the topics to be discussed at the Forum in Nice. They were: interaction of humanities and natural science, liberal art education and its status in society, humanities as a positively binding factor in Russian-French relations. An agreement was made to establish a special award for the best PhD dissertation.
