On September 24, the conference "Drama and Theater" was held at RSUH. Scholars from Russia, Bulgaria and Iraq discussed topics related to various aspects of drama and theater. The event was organized by the Department of Theoretical and Historical Poetics of the Institute of Philology and History.
The researchers turned to the dramaturgy of the past and analyzed the poetics of plays hailed as classics. The speakers discussed current theatrical practices, considering modern drama and theater through the prism of the existing dramatic and theatrical tradition.
The Conference was moderated by members of the Institute of Philology and History of RSUH: Dr. Yuri Domansky, Professor of the Department of Theoretical and Historical Poetics and Dr. Anatoly Korchinsky, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and History of Humanitarian Knowledge.
Dr. Natalia Nyagolova, Professor of the St. Cyril and Methodius Veliko Tyrnovo University, spoke about psychological drama by Branislav Nusic as presented on the Belgrade stage
