The exhibitions “Live culturally – work productively! Soviet everyday life in graphics” and “Dreams about Cuba” became the object of both the field internship and a special seminar on designing expositions. All stages of projects were implemented by the students in collaboration with museum staff and faculty members.
Exhibition “Live culturally – work productively! Soviet everyday life in graphics" tells about the special atmosphere of the Thaw, when new opportunities and a new aesthetics of leisure opened up before Soviet citizens.
“Dreams of Cuba” is dedicated to the image of the Island of Freedom, formed in Soviet culture. Through the objective world of the era (badges, pennants, postcards, posters, letters, photographs) curators trace the history of the Soviet-Cuban relations.
