The ceremony took place July 6 with over 1,500 graduates attending. After the traditional opening by the drum ensemble “Moskvichki”, Dr. Pivovar said in his speech that the celebration was an event both for the students and their teachers and that he hoped that the graduates would prove once again the high quality of RSUH education. Every graduate was handed the diploma personally by the rector, and a commemorative medal – by the deans and the institute directors. The ceremony concluded with fireworks and release of doves into the sky.
